Remember that this laptop is really only intended for gaming. If you’re looking for a device that can serve as a portable work controller, you’ll want to look elsewhere because of its average battery life and heavy and thick chassis. It also offers one of the best battery gaming experiences we’ve seen; it was able to run Red Dead Redemption 2 at playable frame rates for more than an hour without a charger.
Speaking of battery life, we found that the Strix G15 was by far the longest-lasting gaming laptop on the market, averaging nine hours and 16 minutes between charges. That’s doubly impressive because it runs a slew of blinking LEDs, including an RGB keyboard with individual keys and a colored strip of light along the front edge of the dash. The Strix G15 Advantage edition is a great gaming laptop for you if you want a jazzy, bold design and you only use AMD products.
